MISERS Occupational Safety Training began to address the asbestos training needs in 1987 and has continued to expand its training courses to meet the changing regulatory environment of its customers.
MISERS was approved for asbestos training on July 5, 1988 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) to conduct training classes for Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor and Asbestos Worker. MISERS also received approval from the USEPA for the associated refresher courses. MISERS also offer the Asbestos Building Inspector Course that is approved by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).
On December 4, 1998, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment granted MISERS contingent approval for Lead Certification Training in Colorado. On May 22, 2001, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment granted MISERS Inspection and Training final approval for the lead certification courses. Currently MISERS Training is the only training and education organization in Colorado to offer lead training for Lead Worker, Lead Supervisor, Lead Inspector and Lead Risk Assessor.
In addition to the certified Asbestos and Lead training classes, MISERS also offers training in several Occupational Safety and Health programs. These training classes include but are not limited to, Asbestos Awareness for Schools and Industrial facilities, OSHA sixteen (16) hour asbestos training, Lead awareness, lead for industrial work operations, respiratory training and fit testing.
MISERS Training facility, located in Englewood, Colorado, combines a true climate controlled classroom setting with a state-of-the-art shop and a hands-on work area.
